1. Representation – For women, LGBTQ2S+, BIPOC, those with disabilities and other marginalized groups to feel seen, be represented and to have and become role models.
2. Inclusivity – Create safe spaces and places for folks to support one another to educate, grow and build confidence with their leadership potential. We are stronger together!
3. Support & Empowerment – Provide education, workshops, peer support and networking opportunities and to build a community of change makers and provide the tools to enter the often intimidating world of politics and leadership.
4. Mentorship – Mentorship is one of the most important tools we can offer to the next generation of leaders. Lead As You Are will strive to create mentorship opportunities and connections.
5. Holding up our Trailblazers – Once they take the next step into these leadership roles, we should encourage continued support and highlight trailblazers.
